Hot and tired, protesters sit outside one of the shuttered retail malls.

Everywhere, protesters exuded a friendly, positive attitude.

Closer to the main rally location, this man nursed a leg injury but remained in high spirits.

Along streets that would normally see bumper-to-bumper traffic, protesters walk towards the main rally area.

Motorcycles ferried protesters and journalists back and forth.

Close to Ratchprasong intersection, the crowd picks up again.

Many of the protesters were worn out and sought to escape the hot sun.

Behind the stage, a fairly large number of protesters milled about on Rajadamri Road.

Looking to the north, however, a vast sea of red stretched from the stage along Rajadamri Road.

Senior UDD members signed autographs for the crowd...
