Airports of Thailand site poses malware risk

Shame about the “security”
Security has been ramped up at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport but it is hard to confirm the security arrangements because, according to Google, the website for Airports of Thailand (AOT), which owns and operates the airport, itself poses a security risk for visitors.

But wait, there’s more!
The malware risk isn’t actually hosted on AOT’s webserver. Elements of the pages are served from the website of Thailand’s Senate and Google says many of the pages on that server are compromised.

Not unusual
This frustrating state of affairs is, lamentably, a fairly common thing online but it comes at an especially difficult time for anybody trying to get the latest information on travel through Thailand’s main airport.
